About Vallerane

Vallerane is a universe populated exclusively by furry characters! The inhabitants of Vallerane are the Ascended, anthropomorphic beings (bipeds, with animal features but human intelligence) who built the country on the ruins of the Lizard People, a civilization that built temples and gigantic works of art.

Among them, however, are the rare Recessives, who have the same intelligence but have kept their animal shape. Too different, they are rejected and live in hiding.

Finally, there are the mythical creatures, who draw their vitality from strange stones. But they all deserted the country long ago. All but one.

An Original Fantasy Novel

Tired of conventional stories you've seen a thousand times? Want to relive the thrill of finding yourself in a situation where you're surprised, plunged into the unknown and don't know where you're going? To see revelations that put everything you've read before in a whole new light?

The Rains of Vallerane is an epic fantasy novel that doesn't just follow the path.

It's also a story that doesn't hold back. No character is safe. Even a hero who sets out with the best of intentions can go mad when it all goes wrong.

Mercenaries and Colorful Characters

Vallerane no longer has a king, and is under the yoke of Olmar, a being who lives in hiding and spends fortunes to extend his power. As a result, mercenary groups proliferate, attracted by the lure of profit.

But not all are the same. From the most hot-headed to the most loyal, from the calmest to the most exuberant, they promise explosive encounters.

And in the middle of it all, a Recessive dog and a peaceful drake who want nothing more than to defend what they believe in.

Vibrance, Potions and Modified Weapons

There are three battle arts in Vallerane.
All things and all materials have a Vibrance. Small precious objects, called tuning forks, can vibrate with these and increase their force tenfold, transforming simple waves into tidal waves, for example.

By mastering the art of Potions, one can create concoctions that restore strength, heal wounds, or deadly poisons.

But today, these two arts are rare and almost lost. Warriors prefer to use modified weapons. Weapons that possess an alteration, a surprise, to make them even more devastating.
